Service Status turns your WHMCS into a professional public status page that customers actually trust. Manage services with grouping, report incidents with timeline updates, and schedule maintenance windows — all from the admin panel, without touching code or external services.

Service & incident management

Organize services by region, product line, or any taxonomy that fits your business. When something goes wrong, post timeline-based incident updates that customers see in real time on a clean, responsive public page. Maintenance windows can be scheduled in advance with full public visibility, so clients plan ahead instead of opening tickets.

Automated uptime monitoring

Skip the manual status updates. Service Status probes your services over HTTP, TCP, or ICMP at configurable intervals (1 to 60 minutes) and flips the public status automatically on failure and recovery. Service dependencies cascade — when an upstream provider fails, every downstream service marks itself affected, so you don't have to update them one by one.

Notifications & public subscriptions

Customers don't want to refresh your status page. Service Status delivers incident updates via email and Webhooks, with per-subscriber filtering so each subscriber only gets the event types they care about. The public page includes a built-in email subscription form, no third-party newsletter service required.

Brand & localization

Your status page lives on a custom URL slug under your domain, with full control over logo, colors, fonts, and CSS. The plugin ships with English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese out of the box. Database-level pagination keeps the page responsive even after years of incident history.

Developer-friendly

A read-only REST API exposes services, incidents, and maintenance windows in JSON, with built-in interactive documentation. An audit log captures every admin action for compliance reviews and post-mortem analysis.
